Chicken Curry
Fresh Chicken pieces (with bone) - 1 cup
Cinnamon stick - 4
Cardamom - 3
Aniseed - 1 tsp
Cloves - 4
Ginger garlic paste - 1 tbsp
Chopped onion - 1 medium
Chopped tomato - 3 medium
Green Chilly - 4 slited
Chilly powder - 1 tbsp
Coriander powder - 2 tbsp
Curry masala powder - 1 tsp
Mint leaves - few
Coriander leaves - few
Lemon juice - 1 tbsp
Oil - as required
Salt to taste
Methods of Chicken Curry
Heat pan with required oil, add whole spices, onion, chilly, Mint leaves, tomato and saute well.
Then add ginger garlic paste, saute till the raw smell goes off.
Add chicken pieces , mix and saute well for 5 minutes.
Add Chilly powder, Coriander powder, Curry masala powder and salt, mix well.
Reduce the flame and cook for 10 minutes as the chicken cooked.
Then adjust the water if the chicken curry starts to gravy consistence.
Remove chicken curry from the fire add the lime juice.
Finally garnish the chicken curry with the coriander leaves.
Serve hot chicken curry with hot steam rice, chapati, idly, dosa and nan.
